STAND -Our Aims

STAND’s aims

 

Stop The Adversane North Heath Development or STAND for short, comprises a group of local residents who have come together to object to the proposed development at Adversane / North Heath.  We have formed a steering group and are supported by a growing band of committed volunteers.  We have established an e-mail database and regularly publish updates on our website at www.saveourcountryside.com .

Our sole purpose is to persuade Horsham District Council to drop its proposals for a new settlement at Adversane / North Heath by raising public awareness and reasoned argument.  Whilst we are currently considering adopting a formal constitution, we would hope to be in a position to disband in the spring of next year, assuming the ongoing Core Strategy Review process makes no further reference to this site.
